Developmental Day Programs
Community Living Guelph Wellington
Service options include life skills development, education/literacy, personal interest courses, meaningful activities and volunteering in the community. These programs are offered during the week, usually Monday through Friday.
Most of these services are located at the Adult Day Service in Guelph, Seniors Program in Guelph, and at the Community Living Centres in Centre Wellington (Fergus), Mount Forest, Erin and Harriston.

Passport
Family Counselling & Support Services
The Passport Coordinator assists adults with a developmental disability who have completed school to apply for community participation supports. The Passport Coordinator also assists students nearing secondary school graduation with their transition planning as they prepare to transition from school to community life.

Sheltered Work Environments

The employment training options are designed to meet the needs of and build upon the strengths of the people who participate in the program. Vocational training opportunities are available for adults at ARC Industries and Torchlight Industries in Guelph, and at Production Works and Fergus Woodworking in Centre Wellington.

The Supported Employment Program provides training and support for people with a developmental disability who are searching for paid employment in the community. Services are available throughout Guelph and Wellington County and include:

Family Home Program
Christian Horizons
Families are recruited, trained and supported in opening their homes to adults with developmental disabilities and including them in their family life.  This service is also offered to children on a limited basis.

Group Home
Community Living Guelph Wellington
Residential settings or group homes have three or more people sharing a home with each resident receiving support from workers up to 24 hours per day.
The residential settings are home-like, accommodate people based on their abilities and care requirements and can include seniors, medically fragile, and people who experience challenging behaviours.
The residential settings or homes are located in neighbourhoods in Guelph, Fergus, Belwood, and Mount Forest.

Hopewell Homes

Hopewell Home is a total care residence and home for individuals with severe developmental and physical disabilities.

Supported Independent Living
Community Living Guelph Wellington
People are typically supported in their own apartment.  Support can be provided for a limited time in a family or group home setting while a person is preparing to move out on their own. Supported Independent Living is available in Guelph and throughout Wellington County.
